Digital Business Unit of Fortune Indonesia in Rebrand as Navya

Logo NavyaJakarta, 3 Maret 2017 – Fortune Indonesia Digital Business Unit, Digital Identity (DId), has rebranded as Navya. This is announced in the event Goodbye Hello! held on Friday, March 3, 2017 in Lobbyn, Kemang, South Jakarta.

DId was first established in 2010 as a business unit of Fortune Indonesia which is focusing on providing communications services as well as digital-based campaigns. DId’s achievements have been proven in several brand projects ever executed, such as Tupperware, Dulux, Lenovo, OCBC NISP, Mini Cooper, Honda, Gatsby, UC Browser, BRI Bank, UNICEF, S.C Johnson & Son. Throughout its journey, DId has yielded many works including Dulux Color Run 2014 which successfully gained more than 24,556,426 impressions on social media – exceeding those achieved by other sponsors.

“This rebranding effort is performed as a strategy to capture the huge opportunities in the digital advertising industry,” said Irwan Wahyudianto, Digital Business Director, Navya.Today the digital advertising market in Indonesia is growing rapidly along with the increase of Internet users. The recorded number of internet users in Indonesia has reached 50% growth year-on-year, from 88 million users in 2016, soaring to 132.7 million users in 2017. “Nowadays people spend more time to connect to the internet –  either via PC or mobile phone than to watch television,” Irwan added.

It is predicted that the total of mobile internet ad spending in Indonesia will grow to 734 million USD in 2017 and 1,487 million USD in 2018 – increasing 124 times compared to total advertising spending in 2013.

The name Navya is taken from a Sanskrit word which symbolizes Newness, Innovation, and Novelty. “Not only is the name changed, but this rebranding also inspires new values in our internals. Navya adheres to the spirit of being humble, playful, and fun. With that spirit, we are ready to provide more innovative business solutions to the clients,” said Irwan.
